What a small world!

I really enjoyed it! I am a natural horsemanship person, I have used a lot of Pat Parelli's techniques, but I am excited to use some of Buck's, too.

I liked your quotes and I am glad you wrote some down because my biggest regret is that I did not take notes! I especially agree that most of the time riders do just enough to be annoying, but not effective. And, that if you don't ride enough, then not even doing the correct thing will make a difference.Pony Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02464088874054923635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-18149347095542139642008-11-06T07:54:00.000-08:002008-11-06T07:54:00.000-08:00Well, I haven't weighed. The morning class wasn’t necessarily for “beginners.” The horses and/or the riders just may not have as much experience. I have been riding with Buck for 12 years and I was in the morning class. :)LatigoLizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00156135083831037517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-29850548956474264722008-11-04T11:55:00.000-08:002008-11-04T11:55:00.000-08:00Those are great quotes! Those are great quotes!Jessica Burkhart https://www.blogger.com/profile/01392565903843981091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-10658976167346979892008-11-04T05:53:00.000-08:002008-11-04T05:53:00.000-08:00New week. Didn't you say 50 pages a week? Well, 22 is almost half of that.

I have the book Believe. Agree with "if you don't ride..." and the other statements. Just the last one sticks out at me right now.I don't know what my problem is with just getting out there and saddling up for about 20 minutes. We've even had nice weather this week.
Good for you Mugwump! You're taking the little things into getting the bigger things.
Laura, you got some things done. Like Jami's post says, it's the little things that add up. Don't worry, I have to remind myself of that DAILY!
Leslie~Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00224646742863478548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-68614628790613042162008-11-03T12:26:00.000-08:002008-11-03T12:26:00.000-08:00I am not doing as well as mugwump or Jami. My hike/run thing is paying off, my back is better, my wind is up and I'm running a lttle more on the up hills. I rode all three horses that needed it this week, one of them twice. I still haven't finished my new Christmas cards, but they're creeping to completion.
The biggest + in my mind is that I'm feeling healthier. So let's keep this going OK?mugwumphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00319060800328355056noreply@blogger.com
