I speak from experience when I say that a horse that seemed 100% fine one day can be in colic surgery 48 hours later--or worse. So we're all in the same boat. I had a happy ride on my horse yesterday, too, and the same thoughts went through my mind. What a lovely moment--a gift to be cherished. Thanks for putting it so well.

Oh, and yeah, why argue if you're not in the mood and you can find a way around it? I would have done the same.Laura Crumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15200878892304748308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-87894158142136631712010-11-14T05:55:49.579-08:002010-11-14T05:55:49.579-08:00Sounds like you had a great ride!Sounds like you had a great ride!Fantastyk Voyagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15065772565014490544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-72129657912614235452010-11-14T04:15:57.139-08:002010-11-14T04:15:57.139-08:00Jami: lovely description of that tuned in feeling....Jami: lovely description of that tuned in feeling. You made me tearful as I know so well how special, magical and rare those moments are. And you were right to stay away from the green demons! Why spoil such a special moment?

I wish you many more magical, tuned in moments with Gailey. And yes, cherish each and every one.Francesca Prescotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18201599087106798500noreply@blogger.com
