I wish the clinic where I took my horse recently had had one; it was really scary watching Kwint come out of his sedation and wobbling all over the place. Thanks for the info, Jan. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your horse.Francesca Prescotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18201599087106798500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-30268624816665484912010-11-07T17:09:08.222-08:002010-11-07T17:09:08.222-08:00Thank you for all the great information Jan! My niece is a hunter-jumper and she ONLY wants to be in that barn and be all around her horse. I wish they had the equipment 'the nest' for Barbaro. Everytime I think about that race, it brings tears to my eyes.Tonya Kappeshttp://tonyakappes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-70169536074336345872010-11-07T16:42:45.505-08:002010-11-07T16:42:45.505-08:00I can see equine vet clinics using the NEST.I can see equine vet clinics using the NEST.Jan Scarbroughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07485602579241881149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-44567009709450019622010-11-07T14:05:09.570-08:002010-11-07T14:05:09.570-08:00Ah, Jan, I know how it is to lose a friend. I still tear up sometimes when I look in the field and they aren't there.<br />As interesting as the NEST is, it doesn't look very practical for the regular horse owner. I think it definitely would have helped Barbaro, though. It is a shame it wasn't on the market sooner.JMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03689756071577897741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5037107797013641705.post-20590548683249166382010-11-07T13:56:53.683-08:002010-11-07T13:56:53.683-08:00Very informative blog post, Jan. Your post makes me wonder if all of this info --and the emotion that goes with something like this -- will turn up in one of your books one day. You know I love your horse books for big girls. :)Maddie Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02591180926700480845noreply@blogger.com
